The crazy holiday of love is coming up- and you know what that means… Lots of chocolate, hearts, and festive nail designs! Today I rounded up a few of my favorite Valentine’s Day nail tutorials from year’s past. Everything from adorable minions, to creating the “perfect heart”, to intricate candy heart designs.

Create the “Perfect Heart”

Hearts can be a tricky nail design to get down, it’s not your average shape. This step-by-step tutorial shows you how to easily create a heart in any size, any color, and with any nail length. With a bit of practice and patience, you too can be rocking these sweet nails on the most loving day of the year!

Conversation Hearts

What’s Valentines Day without some Conversation Heart candy? These cute little sugary treats are decorated with adorable sayings such as “I love you”, “xoxo”, “Kiss Me”, etc. I chose to free-hand paint these nails- so they’re by no means perfectly clean, but definitely achievable!

Classic Leopard

This manicure in particular is one of my favorite combos, red and leopard- it just cannot get more classic than that! Red is always such a great color to wear year round, but the glitter and leopard accents keep it fun and trendy. I created the leopard spots with a small detail brush and black/white polish to add some fun to this mani.

Bows & Glitter

There are two things in this world a girl just cannot resist- glitter and bows (shopping too!). So why not incorporate all of that, plus a little pink, into one adorable nail design?
