Ingredients:

  • Teaspoon of normal granulated sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon of Olive Oil ( extra virgin olive oil works also )
  • Small Dish
  • Spoon

  1. Grab a small plate or dish, make sure it is clean.
  2. Use a spoon and scoop a small amount of sugar onto the plate.
  3. Take the same spoon and add the olive oil.
  4. Mix it up until it has a thick, pasty consistency.
  5. Apply a small amount to your lips and rub them together for 20-30 seconds.
  6. Wipe it off and apply your favorite chapstick.
  7. Ta da! Smooth lips with little to no effort.

Thanks!

    Hey Megan.
I’m glad you did this post, especially since I was asking you the other day in civics :P
I tried it, and it’s great! I also tried on my friend and she liked it too :) And i loved the taste, so sweet!! <3
But, i was also found that if you mix just a little bit of honey with it (like a drop or two, maybe a little more)
it really has a nice thick, kinda smoother texture and goes on slicker. Also, i read it moisturizes it
alot more. Just a thought i came across. Great post overall :)

I do this as a face scrub once a week. Once you’ve rubbed it (gently) all over your face, rinse with warm water. The sugar will rinse off, but not the oil. I then pat my face with a towel, and leave the oil residue on over night – my face is super soft the next morning!
